Are you a healer or a Reiki practitioner who is curious about what a Healer or Reki Share is? A healer share, sometimes referred to as a circle, is a group of people who come together to exchange healing energy with one another. It is a gathering that brings together people who share a desire for healing and balance, creating a nurturing space for each other to practice and connect. Many groups focus on one modality such as Reiki, but in the share I run, I allow various healing modalities as I find they are all very complimentary with one another and opens the boundaries for broader connection and learning.

In a group session, when people channel healing together, it creates a collective energy that is powerful yet soothing. It is like tuning into a shared radio frequency that amplifies the effect of calm and restoration.
How might a healer share deepen your practice or bring more peace into your life?
Enhanced energy flow. The combined focus of the group helps clear blockages and balance chakras more effectively.
Emotional release and support. Being in a safe, supportive environment encourages you to let go of stress, anxiety, and emotional pain.
Sense of community. Healing can sometimes feel isolating, but healer shares remind you that you are part of a larger, caring network.
Learning and growth. Observing others and sharing insights can deepen your understanding of your own practice and your own energy body.
Boosted intuition and sensitivity. Regular group practice sharpens your ability to sense subtle energies and trust your inner guidance.
What can one expect at a healer or reiki share?
Welcoming and grounding. The session usually begins with a brief introduction and a moment to center yourself. You might be guided through a calming breath exercise or a short meditation.
Setting intentions. Each participant may be invited to set a personal intention for the session. This helps focus the energy and aligns everyone’s purpose.
Energy exchange. Participants take turns giving and receiving Reiki. This can be done seated or lying down, depending on the group’s style.
Group energy flow. Sometimes, the group channels Reiki together, creating a powerful collective healing field.
Sharing and reflection. After the energy work, there’s often time to share experiences, ask questions, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
Throughout the session, the energy feels gentle and supportive, like a warm embrace. Remember, every Reiki share is unique, and your experience may vary. Below are a few tips to keep in mind when attending a group healer share.
Arrive with an open heart and mind. Let go of expectations and allow the experience to unfold naturally.
Be present and mindful. Notice your breath, the sensations in your body, and the subtle shifts in energy around you.
Respect the space and others. Silence or soft conversation helps maintain the peaceful atmosphere.
Wear comfortable clothing. You want to feel relaxed and free to sit or move comfortably.
Hydrate. Drinking water before and after helps your body adjust to energy shifts.
Arrive early. This gives you time to settle in and connect with others.
Be patient with yourself. Healing unfolds in its own time and every session offers something valuable.
Share your experiences if you feel called. Sometimes, speaking about what you felt or learned can deepen your understanding.
If you are looking for a way to nurture your spiritual growth, a healer or Reiki share may be just what you are looking for. Joining a share is like stepping into a circle of light and love. It’s a chance to nurture your spirit, balance your energy, and feel supported by a community of kindred souls. Whether you’re new to healing or have been practicing for years, these group experiences can deepen your connection to yourself and others.
If this feels like an experience that you are ready to explore, consider seeking out a gathering near you. You might be surprised at how much peace and joy await when you open your heart to collective healing. To find a group near you, search groups on Meet Up such as the one I run, Arlington Healing and Reiki Circle. You can also look on Facebook groups or ask your Reiki or healing teacher.
Wishing you healing, renewal and balance!
